We got to know Dennis in the 80’s as fellow Friesian/Holstein breeders. A friendship developed and we were able to purchase several quality cattle from Dennis. Always a joy to meet.

Dennis, I'm going to miss you so very much, the world does not have enough people like you in it. But through your amazing children and grandchildren you can still be here with us all. Noni and Cinds, my heart goes out to you, at the moment this weight is so very heavy for you and we're always here to help you carry it. Love you all so very much and we will make sure we continue Sunday lunch club and think of you xoxoxo

It's very difficult to express how much I thought of you. There was an aura around Dennis Smith the holstein legend. I was very lucky to be a friend of yours and the family. You will never know what it meant when you asked me to judge with you in Ireland. Will keep an eye on Noni for you... RIP.
